The Elite OrthoSport Team specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy and delivers a level of care sought after by the best. Our approach is to address more than just your symptoms by getting to the root of the problem. We not only identify areas that are problematic now, but aim to identify areas of weakness, muscle imbalance and movement dysfunction that may predispose you to injury in the future.
Our Founder
Heather Milligan is the founder and President of Elite OrthoSport Physical Therapy & Performance. With over 20 years of experience in the field, in addition to her degree in Physical Therapy, she holds her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Heather currently maintains three highly regarded certifications, placing her in an elite class of physical therapists in the country.
Heather Milligan, Founder
After extensive training and testing, she was awarded the designation of a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). Heather is dual board certified and recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as both an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS).
Heather spent 20 years as a competitive gymnast and has worked extensively with athletes of all ages and competition levels including professional boxing, MMA, NFL, NBA, MLB, tennis, figure skating, volleyball, soccer, track, gymnastics, and a variety of recreational athletes. She has used both her clinical and business experience to establish a team of physical therapists at Elite OrthoSport that share her values and approach to provide the highest level of care and individual attention to each patient.
